| Résumé : | L’article propose un cadre original d’analyse institutionnelle pour appréhender la dynamique des secteurs (ou industries), tant leur émergence, que leur évolution et leur éventuelle disparition. L’analyse méso-économique porte sur la façon dont s’instituent, au sein de chaque industrie, les rapports qui gouvernent les relations [1] au marché, [2] au travail, [3] aux fournisseurs et [4] à la finance. Elle s’attache à la répartition du pouvoir et de la valeur entre les acteurs d’une industrie et à leur travail politique, tout en précisant le contexte institutionnel macro, espace des contraintes et opportunités pour les rapports à instituer. Le cadre théorique est mobilisé pour comprendre l’évolution récente dans la distribution automobile en Europe. |

| Abstract: | The paper proposes an original institutionalist framework to analyze the dynamics of sectors (or industries), their emergence, their evolution and their possible disappearance. The meso-economic analysis concerns the way by which are institutionalized, within every industry, the relationships [ 1 ] to the market, [2] to employment, [3] to suppliers and [4] to finance. It considers the distribution of power and value between actors within an industry and their political work, while specifying the macro institutional context, as a space of constraints and opportunities for institutionalize relationships. The theoretical framework is used to understand recent changes in the automobile distribution in European Union. |
