Cahier 2009-20| Titre : | Les dynamiques spatiales des activités productives | | Résumé : | Cet article propose une revue de la littérature des travaux portant sur la dynamique spatiale des activités productives. Une première partie s’attache à analyser les théories traditionnelles de la localisation des firmes. La discussion sur les apports et les limites de ces travaux met en exergue la nécessité d’appréhender les relations réciproques entre entreprises et territoires, faisant dialoguer économie industrielle et économie spatiale. La seconde partie de l’article est alors consacrée à l’économie de la proximité, qui traite sur la base d’un tel dialogue de la question des dynamiques spatiales des industries sous l’angle de la coordination. | | Mot(s) clé : | Industrie, Espace, Localisation, Firme, Proximité | | Title: | Spatial dynamics of firms | | Abstract: | This paper is a survey of the literature about the spatial dynamics of firms. In a first part, we discuss about the traditional theories of location. We review the insights of these theories but also their limits. In particular, we stress the necessity to organize a true dialog between the approaches focusing on firms' organization, and those who are focusing on the territorial dimension. In other words, we stress that it is a necessity to cross Industrial dynamics and Regional science. In this perspective, the second part of the paper explores the contribution of the Economics of Proximities’ approach.
